The
Natural Golf swing is based on four fundamentals:
-
Natural
Palm Grip
The
club is held more in the palms of the hands. Two common grips
that are used in the Natural Golf swing are the baseball grip
and 10 finger grip.
-
Single
Axis
Aligning
the shaft and right forearm in the same line forms a single
axis. This setup enables the club and arms to be starting on a
single plane, eliminating any need to rotate the body or
forearms to get the club on plane.
-
Wide
Stance
A
wide stance eliminates any need to rotate excessively through
impact. Reducing the lower body rotation allows you to
generate more power by swinging the arms.
-
Face
the Ball at Impact
The
address and impact positions should mirror each other. The
knees, hips, and shoulders should face the ball at impact as
at address. Body and clubface rotation is minimized when
applying this fundamental.
