This beach tour starts from your hotel where you will be picked up early and head straight up the mountain on an enjoyable and scenic drive up through the cloud and rain forests of the Braulio Carrillo National Park passing through one of Costa Rica's few tunnels leading to the tropical Caribbean side of the country. Winding down the mountain the views are breathtaking all the way down into the lowlands. Here you will notice a remarkable change as the cloud and rainforests are replaced by expansive pineapple and banana plantations, where if possible, the tour will stop for a brief stop at a banana packing plant.

Once arriving at the coast, you will visit the Port of Moin and the city of Limon to see the off-shore island where Christopher Columbus first set foot on Costa Rica.

From there the tour follows the coastline south through coconut groves and isolated beaches to the quaint coastal town of Cahuita bordering the Cahuita National Park, renown for its coral reefs and excellent snorkeling. Thids is the end of the line for this tour before returning back to San Jose.
